Applies to: Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 (MW4) on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox on PC, Battle.net, and Steam.
Requires: Enhanced Headphone Mode with a Personalized Profile (free trial or Immerse Gamepack license)
Multibus Spatial Tuning tunes each type of sound in MW4 separately, instead of processing the whole mix the same way. It’s built into your Personalized Profile in MW4. There’s nothing extra to turn on.
A game’s audio isn’t one single sound. It’s built from groups of sounds, called buses, which the game mixes together before they reach your headphones. Gunfire, footsteps, explosions, ambience and voices each travel on their own path through the mix.
Most spatial audio processing happens at the very end, after everything has been combined, so every sound gets the same treatment. With Multibus Spatial Tuning, Immerse works with MW4’s audio before it’s combined. Each group is spatially tuned for its job, then everything is brought back together into one mix
One setting for the whole mix means trading one thing off against another. Multibus Spatial Tuning avoids that trade-off, so each sound keeps what matters most about it.
For best results, turn off any other virtual surround, spatial sound processing, EQ or headset software.
Is it in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty®: Warzone™?

Is it part of the Universal Profile?

Can I adjust each sound group myself?
