COD | Enhanced Headphone Mode with PS5 3D Audio / Tempest

Is Enhanced Headphone Mode compatible with Playstation5 (PS5) 3D Audio / Tempest ?

Compatibility: Not compatible. Disable PS5 3D Audio before using EHM.

PS5 3D Audio Setup (turn OFF):

  1. Go to Settings from home screen
  2. Select Sound
  3. For "3D Audio for Headphones": Toggle OFF
  4. For "Audio Format (Priority)": Select "Linear PCM"
  5. Ensure Dolby and DTS are OFF

Why: Using both PS5 3D Audio and Enhanced Headphone Mode simultaneously degrades audio quality. EHM requires exclusive access to your audio output.
